Corey Lewandowski, under questioning by the House Judiciary Committee, confirmed that President Trump once asked him to help pressure the attorney general to curtail the scope of the Mueller investigation. Here are the key moments from Tuesday's hearing.

In late 2018 I said people were underestimating Warren and she'd hit double digits by the first debate. I was wrong. She got there a bit sooner.

How utterly exquisite if correct.

Quoted@Yair_Rosenberg

If the revised exits are right - and we still have no idea if they are - the Arab vote in Israel may have just toppled Bibi. The revision of the exits *against* Netanyahu bucks the trend of them usually being more favorable for him and the right. So there's that.

Wow. House counsel Barry Berke just busted @CLewandowski_ telling a major lie on national television -- Lewandowski claimed no memory of any interaction with Sessions as outlined in the Mueller report. Lewandowski stammers something about his memory failing him.

May God give the Democrats a war time consigliere. They are terrible at this. They bring a fork to a gunfight and stab themselves in the eye. Republicans meanwhile bring a bazooka and kill everyone, including themselves.

One example: #MoscowMitch. It stuck. It's memorable. It explains Mitch's corruption and cynicism. It tells a story that is damning for Mitch. Republicans are great at simple messages that evoke emotion and stories that linger and stir their base. Dems suck at it.

Quoted@WajahatAli

Democrats are notoriously bad at messaging. Most Americans haven't read the Mueller Report, which is a smoking gun. You have to explain, in simple terms, why impeachment is the necessary tool to hold Trump accountable. Imagine if Republicans were in this position instead?

If given a choice between democracy or their conservative ideology, most Republicans will give up the former. They are perfectly fine with Trump's obstruction, with WH stonewalling, ignoring subpoenas, the sham of today's Lewandowski hearing. We should all be disturbed by this.

Is Israel going to make the mistake of re-electing Netanyahu, a racist Prime Minister who wants to annex the West Bank, has courted the most extreme aspects of Israeli society and will most likely be indicted for multiple corruption charges?

"Who do you like more: the country or the Hispanics?" is consistent w/ previous statements. "Go back," Jewish disloyalty, and even farkas with Judge Curiel rely on belief that the Americaness of "minorities" must be proven thru partisan loyalty

Trump then says "nobody loves the Hispanics more" than his supporter Steve Cortes. He then asks Cortes, "Who do you like more, the country or the Hispanics?" When Cortes apparently says "the country," Trump says, "I don't know."

Maybe Gase should call Kaepernick? Oh yeah the NFL would never allow that because a man kneeling during the anthem to protest police brutality is unforgivable but if you've been accused of murder or rape or domestic abuse well then come on back! Everyone deserves a second chance!

Cheadle recently left the Republican Party over its racism.

“’Oh look at my African American over here!’ Trump said, pointing at Cheadle, who at the time was a Republican...Asked last week about Cheadle, who is running for a House seat as an independent, Trump said he didn’t know who he was.” ⁦@AshleyRParker
